Clipper Ventures Plc was founded by Sir Robin Knox-Johnston in 1995. The company owns the rights to the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race, which starts from Liverpool in September 2007.

This is the worlds only non professional round the world yacht race. Join people from all walks of life in city versus city and country versus country yacht racing.

At over 35,000 miles, the Clipper 07-08 Race will be the world's longest race and it starts on September 16th 2007 UK host port in Liverpool, European Capital of Culture 2008, for their jubilant finish in the summer of 2008.
